The business relationship with the client begins and develops from a request, and our sales department has the task to welcome it, study it and convert it into a product suitable for each need. Because of the many different necessities we manage every day, it’s always helpful to receive immediately information that is as accurate and complete as possible. In this way, we reduce the waiting time and limit the margin of error.
Here are the key points for making an effective request.
– STEP 1: provide the article’s code if you already know what you are looking for; otherwise, is essential for us starting from which type of product you need:
- a manwaydoor
- a manhole cover
- an accessory.
– STEP 2: indicate the dimensions of the product and, eventually, the frame’s height. Informing about the desired measures, even approximate, allows us to exclude many articles that do not correspond to what is requested.
– STEP 3: define the material between AISI 304/304L or 316/316L.
– STEP 4: identify the type of gasket. This is a very important step because a compound not suitable with the material inside the deposit can make it ineffective. We usually let the client identify the most appropriate gasket, after previous consultation with his project engineer, but in case they’re not sure, we are willing to suggest the one that might be the most suitable.
– STEP 5: specify other details, such as the type of opening or the pressure to be supported, or even features that do not correspond to our standard (for example the handwheel with color or material different from the green nylon).
– STEP 6: define the desired quantity; knowing it is essential, because based on that, we estimate the production and delivery times of the goods.
