The technical data sheet is basically the ID card of our product, so it must provide all the relevant information that allows the customer to have a complete overview of what they need. Despite our efforts to create a data sheet as clear and accurate as possible, we thought it would be useful to carry out a more detailed analysis of it.
Each sheet starts with a brief description of the article, which highlights its type, shape and, eventually, the type of opening, followed by the example of installation and the interactive symbol “3D/CAD” that leads directly to the technical drawings. Then, in the right corner, are given other characteristics of the model, namely the material (AISI 304 – 316L), the article’s code and the available measures.
The central section refers to the product illustration and is composed of the technical drawing, its explanatory legend and the 3D render made by our technicians to give the customers the possibility to get a more realistic idea of what they could receive.
At the bottom you can find two tables; the first one on the left outlines the characteristics for which the customer can choose more options, such as the height and thickness of the frame (H X SP1) and its finishing (SAT, MPL, etc.). In addition, alternatives are also proposed for the type of gasket, handwheel or the possibility to add holes (the numbers refer to the diameter), valves and/or the drip where possible. Without indications, we usually offer the standard configuration.
By consulting the second table, the customer is informed about other technical specifications, including nominal diameter (DN) and internal (DI), or measures A and B for rectangular/oval articles, the thickness of the cover (SP2) and the total height of the product (HT). Further details are given below, such as the maximum pressure supported by the model, whether the cover is smooth (CL), ribbed (CN) or anti-stagnation (CA), the gasket code for those who need replacement, and the weight.
There is also a more concise explanatory legend available on our website, which still allows understanding better our data sheets.
