Effective communication starts with mindful reading!

In daily work, accuracy is everything. A careful reading of commercial documents such as quotations and order confirmations makes the difference in terms of speed and efficiency.

Our documents’ layout was purposely designed to be clear, simple, and intuitive.

The upper part of the document shows, on the left, the identification data of ARTEN SRL, while on the right, under the heading “DEAR” the name of the customer who requested the quote or formalized the order. If the destination of the goods does not correspond to the head office, it is possible to indicate an alternative delivery address, which will be highlighted in the adjacent section; in this case it is essential to communicate this information as the same time as the order is placed, to ensure timely and proper logistics management.

Below the header are the customer’s main details, including VAT number, telephone number, any internal reference, and our document number. Careful verification of this information is always recommended, as it forms the basis for proper order processing.

The central part of the document presents a detailed overview of the required products. Each item is identified by a code, which is useful to facilitate identification of the chosen configuration. Next to the code is the full description of the product, which may include, depending on the case, the type, material, dimensions, frame height, handwheel code, and gasket type. If there are customized requests, the description will also be customized.

To the right of the description is the quantitative data: the quantity expressed in numerical units, the unit price (image for illustrative purposes only), and, in the case of an order confirmation, the expected date of goods readiness. It is important to note that this date does not correspond with the delivery day but refers to the availability of the products ready for shipment – collection.

Finally, the last part of the document (footer) summarizes shipping information, order total, any general clauses, and useful references to our company website.

It should be specified that Arten srl handles shipping exclusively in two ways:

  • EX WORKS, the customer independently handles all stages of transportation,
  • Carriage Paid To, the transport is organized directly by ARTEN, and the costs charged then to the customer.

Unless otherwise specified by the customer, EX WORKS will be the default option.

Having a detailed overview of the documents received is essential to be able to consciously and properly manage the entire business process.
