To guarantee hygiene and cleaning inside and outside the tanks is becoming more and more important. ARTEN commits to develop hygienic design for the products and to offer types of finishing and special personalization available on request.

ARTEN has always aimed to high hygienic standards. In fact, amongst our products, there are ten models with anti-stagnation cover and our average roughness is Ra<0,8.

Also, the gasket is an important factor for hygiene. Based on our customers’ specific requirements, our sales department guides them through the choice of the gasket being put on the frame or the cover. If it must be washed many times, it’s better to choose models with gasket on frame to simplify the cleaning operations.

Moreover, ARTEN offers some personalization (on request) which elevate the quality of the products and avoid the deposit of bacteria inside the tank or on the manhole cover:

• Brackets with 100% welding and sealing, instead of the standard corner welding.
• Support ring for the gasket 100% welded and sealed, instead of fixed with a standard spot welding.
• Arm realized with solid plate (like our ART 930)
